A thriller has to have an element of fear and how to handle our fears. What better way than within the pages of a book? Compound is a thriller about a father who builds a shelter to protect his family but half of that family do not make it to the shelter. How do they live for so long underground? Why does the mother have so many babies? Is the father telling the truth?
